So much going on – as usual.. Let’s get stuck in..
We were keeping it local recently .. for our local Library Day. Part of an Arts trail and cultural community effort in our area. We were delighted to hold two ALBERT the tortoise and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebooks storytime sessions and to have a stall .. where we met many residents .. new fans and old of ALBERT and HnB.
Big thanks to all the organisers and to Waltham Forest Libraries .. and the librarians. Please do support libraries – great local assets.
Then we were on our travels again.. to East Sussex and near Eastbourne to Hailsham to visit a super Nursery.. Summerfields. A brilliant storytime and delighted to see so many of our books already in the school. Massive thanks to everyone involved.
Also, in Hailsham, we were delighted to visit White House Academy primary school. We await pictures from the school. Big thanks there to everyone involved.
We were delighted to have a super write up on our earlier visit to Argyle Primary in Kings Cross, London … working with Bookmark Reading Charity. A nice piece in the school newsletter. Big thanks to veryone involved.
Our next school visit in association with Bookmark Reading charity was to Alderbrook Primary in Balham, south London. A great visit .. promoted brilliantly by the school. We love a good poster. Massive thasnks to everyone involved.
Much further afield we were delighted to see images of the Korean translations of ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN inspiring some artwork by young readers in South Korea. Please keep sharing your pictures with our books.. wherever you may be!

Hugg ‘n’ Bugg have been getting some ace online attention too.. Thanks to Jamie Eagle Eyed Girl on her instagram and her youtube channel. Jamie has done a brilliant reading of Hugg ‘n’ Bugg THE RACE. Thanks Jamie – and all involved.
As ever – May 23 was World Turtle Day once more. We posted a little film featuring real Albert .. who also acted as writer, choreographer, producer and director.. (if you listen to him)… We are always delighted to raise awareness of the plight of less fortunate turtles and tortoises. Albert is proud to be Ambassador for several turtle, tortoise organisations round the world helping his shelly cousins.
We also posted this.. with an image of our 3D CGI ALBERT – from our ongoing children’s animated series based on our book series. WOW! – You seem to like it. So many Likes, Shares, Comments… We are so pleased you like the look of animated ALBERT.
Loads more coming up for us… storytime events in schools, churches, bookshops .. Indie Bookshop Week is on the horizon… And from June 8, animated ALBERT will be in Annecy in France for his latest appearance at a kids animation festival.
