Albert is a real tortoise – a modern day mini-dinosaur living life on the veg. He has inspired a series of heart-warming, award winning books for children and tortoise lovers.
Albert is a Greek spur-thighed tortoise and is more than 80 years-old. He lives with author Ian Brown and his family.
Albert has inspired picturebooks, board books and an activity book as well as ebooks, audiobooks and animated ebooks. Our UK publisher is Graffeg Books based in Cardiff, Wales. Currently a full 3D CGI series of Albert animations are also being worked on. The books have been translated into Welsh, Korean, Maltese and Spanish.
