Hello and welcome to the very latest from ALBERT the tortoise HQ and our good friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg…
We have been BUSY… Here we go..
There has been more amazing praise for ALBERT books from family vloggers / influencers. We are most grateful to all those who have posted. Here are just some of the images taken from the posts.
We’ve also received some more pictures of YOUR tortoises and turtles getting stuck into our books… Please keep sharing.
We have been on the road too… visiting hundreds of pupils at a group of Primary schools in the Tilbury, Essex area. A great series of events with our ALBERT the tortoise and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebook storytime sessions. Supersize thanks to everyone involved at Herringham school, Tilbury Pioneer Academy, Gateway Primary Free school and Lansdowne Primary Academy.
We have been keeping it local too… we were delighted to be invited to be part of North Chingford Methodist Church Open Day.. with our ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg storytimes.
Thanks to the organisers and all who suppported us. Great audience filling pews and the sanctuary. It looks a bit like our audience was captive.. They were not. Not even local MP Iain Duncan Smith who got close to our storytelling.
We shall be keeping it local for some more events in coming weeks.
On Saturday June 14 we will be at South Chingford Community Library from 10am for storytime…
Then on Thursday June 19 from 11am – as part of Independent Bookshop Week, we will be at Jo’s Bookshop in North Chingford for storytime and malarkey.
We have been adding some new graphics here and there.. we hope you like it all. You can find them here on the ALBERT website and also on certain “shopping” pages online…
We like the new graphics a lot. .. and we, of course, very much like all the support you show us.
Thank you for what you do and share with ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg. It means a lot to us.
Lots still going on.. Loads more school events, bookshop visits, library visits … Taking us to Hertfordshire, Cardiff Wales .. Preston, Sheffield, Bolton, Bethnal Green in East London and beyond…
More news soon. Til next time…
