Hello – and welcome to the very latest news from ALBERT the tortoise HQ and our good friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg.. on what is officially the first day of spring…
Lots going on… as always it seems.
We were delighted to hear from Dallow Primary school in Luton, Bedfordshire. We visited them on World Book Day.
Now they have shared some pictures from the day.. as we were delighted to hand out prizes to winners of the best costumes…
We were also delighted to receive our certificate… for MOST POPULAR book on World Book day for Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebook FINDING HOME… as voted by the schoolchildren .. with the certificate also designed by pupils. Thank you so much to all involved.
We have been visiting a LOT of schools recently as part of ongoing World Book Day events… and they continue.
We had a grand morning OUT .. in warm sunshine.. at High Wych nursery, pre-school in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire… We have been lucky enough to be frequent visitors to High Wych.
For the first time we held our ALBERT the tortoise, Hugg ‘n’ Bugg storytime sessions OUTDOORS.. as it was such a lovely day.

Loads more school visits coming up.. First a batch of schools in the Norwich area, Norfolk with Waterstones bookshop, Norwich… Plus a super storytime in the shop on Saturday March 22 from 2pm …
We return to base.. and on Saturday March 29 from 11am we are holding a special Hugg ‘n’ Bugg and ALBERT storytime at Jo’s Bookshop, Chingford … to mark launch of new HnB picturebook THE RACE.
Then… we head to Hartley Wintney, Hook and Faversham … for school events working with Blue Bear bookshop.. plus a storytime in the shop.
Then… school, bookshop and library events galore continue all over the country .. we are pleased to say.
