You know we love to hear from YOU… readers, tortoise friends, libraries, schools and bookshops… We were delighted to hear more from lovely indie bookshop in Warrington, Cheshire Tell Tales Books. They posed our books beautifully for some pictures and were kind enough in a post to call our new Board Book ALBERT ABC “enchanting”. Thanks so much for that. It means a lot. We encourage you to support your local bookshops if you can.
You might remember a while ago we said we had recorded an ace Podcast chat with spaniel Eddie and his assistant Dave for the Dogsthorpe Infant School podcast EDDIE’S LAUNCHPADS based in Peterborough. Well, now it is LIVE.. You can find the first part of our chat on youtube and wherever you might find your pods and also at the school website. It was a lovely interview and the next part will be live in a few days form now – and that is more about our books about ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg.
We’ve been out and about visiting bookshops again.. signing fresh stock of ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg books. We swung by Waterstone’s bookshop in Bluewater shopping centre, Greenhithe, Kent and signed some books. Thanks to all the bookselling team.
We popped by local bookshop V and A books in Highams Park to sign fresh books. Thanks to Andrew and team.
We were also delighted to drop by another of our local bookshops Jo’s Bookshop, Chingford to sign fresh copies of most titles. Thanks to Jo and team for all their support. It is much appreciated.
While we’re talking about bookshop visits… some reminders for your diary as we have also now been listed “officially” for some of our events this summer through the school holidays.
FRIDAY AUGUST 2 from 2pm we will be at Southwold Books, Southwold in Suffolk with our ALBERT the tortoise, Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebooks storytime. Storytelling, tortoises, yetis, dinosaurs, book signing and giveaways…
Then on SATURDAY AUGUST 3 from 11:30am we will be at Woodbridge Books in Woodbridge, Suffolk with ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg storyime.
Not long after.. on FRIDAY AUGUST 16 from 11:30am we will be at Waterstones bookshop in Romford, Essex with ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg storytime. We hope to see some of you here and there.
