Lots occurring.
We were delighted make even more headlines for our World Book Day visit to Alphablocks Nursery in Hadley Wood (an early visit). We made it into the Barnet Times series of papers. A real thrill. All about our visit and our storytime events with ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebooks.
We made more news in the South London Press too as their series of articles and Reviews of our Albert and Hugg n Bugg books continues. Thanks to all involved.
We were on the radio too… with lovely Babs Michel across a large chunk of England via BBC Radio stations Northamptonshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire. Talking all things World Book Day and our Albert and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg books. Thanks Team Babs.
World Book Day is officially on March 7 but events run for months as schools and other places choose their own best times to mark the event.
This week (a bit early) we headed to The Hayes Primary School in Kenley near Croydon for a super series of storytime events. Wonderful to meet all the staff and pupils and to have such wonderful feedback. Thanks everyone involved.
Then we headed to Kent .. and to Junior King’s school in Sturry near Canterbury. A wonderful series of storytime sessions plus we got to meet school tortoise, Bertie. Thanks to everyone involved for a super visit.
World Book Day for many means dressing up as your favourite Book character. We are thrilled that you share your ALBERTs with us… We were delighted to receive these images of Leon…
Then we heard from this Albert superfan! … A great costume.
