Albert’s SUPERSIZE tour

Hello and welcome to the latest from Albert the tortoise HQ with our friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg.

It’s been a little while since our last update with good reason. We have been on our travels. Meanwhile Albert has been supervising from his bed as his big sleep continues.

First we headed to Bristol and to the Storytale Festival. We had a lovely storytime event. Big thanks to everyone who came and all involved including Storysmith Books bookshop who supported our event.

Then we were off down to Cornwall and Truro and our friends at Waterstones bookshop inTruro.. Thanks to all involved.

Then we headed to Cardiff. A visit to independent bookshop of the year Griffin Books in Penarth saw us sign a stack of books ahead of some school visits in the area.

First school was Victoria Primary in Penarth. A wionderful storytime visit with our Albert and Hugg n Bugg picturebooks. Thanks to everyone.

Then off to Evenlode Primary in Penarth. An ace visit again – big thanks to all.

The next day we headed to Jenner Park Primary in Barry for two sessions and it was great to meet everyone there. Thanks again.

Afterwards the children did reports and got creative themselves.. Please note that Albert Supersize scored an amazing 15 / 10 from one pupil… Excellent.

Then we headed to Sully Primary school in Sully.. Thanks to everyone invoplved there. A great visit.

Again the children there got creative and we love to receive news like this.

Our next stop was a return to the lovely National Trust Dyffryn Gardens in St Nicholas. We were allowed to be indoors this time .. But it was a great event. Thanks to everyone involved there.

Then we headed across Wales .. stopping off at our publishers Graffeg in Llangenech near Llanelli to sign a stack ofr books.

Then on to St David’s in Pembrokeshire to visit Falcon Boats who stock our books. A very special storytime by the sea. Thank you everyone.

Then we headed UP .. to Bootle to join the Bootle Children’s Literary Festival. A grand day working with Y Kids charity and Kingsley and Co at Thomas Gray Primary school. Thanks to everyone involved. A wonderful event. Now signed Albert books waiting to be picked up by lucky Golden Ticket holders..

An amazing TWO week trip ..   Meanwhile please keep sending us your pictures with Albert goodies.. like this great one.

And please keep posting Book Reviews…  Now SIX picturebooks available plus our Board Book Albert and his Friends and our Acrtivity Book – ALBERT PUZZLES AND COLOURING .. a great Christmas gift idea. We think.
