HELLO – welcome to the very latest from ALBERT the tortoise HQ – with our friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg the messy yeti and his flea.
So. Much. Going. On.. With real Albert sleeping on.. despite mild weather in London.
This week saw our latest – and last for 2023 – Book Launch.. as we brought out the first ever Albert Activity Book – ALBERT PUZZLES AND GAMES. Packed with fun colouring, join the dots, identify the animals, spot the difference and much more we hope this could be a real winner.. and a great gift especially as Christmas seems to be fast approaching.
We celebrated the launch with a spot on BBC Radio Mersyside with Tony Snell and had a great chat – also about our upcoming visit on November 1 to the Bootle Children’s Literary Festival.

Later on launch day we were at Watersone’s bookshop in Maidstone, Kent for a storytime session and book signing. Thanks to all the team there for all their support and to all those that we met.
The new book also had a great write up in London TV magazine. Thanks there too.
We keep saying we love seeing YOU with our books and other goodies and we still do.. Please keep sharing YOUR pictures with Albert and Hugg n Bugg books, t shirts, tote bags – whatever!

We have events galore later this month…
On Friday October 20 we will be at the Southville Centre in Bristol for the Storytale Festival. Lots of storytime malarkey.
On Sunday October 22 we’ll be back at Waterstone’s bookshop in Truro, Cornwall for storytime sessions. Prompting the lovely booksellers there to tag us as one of their “best-selling children’s picture book authors” – which is more than just a little bit nice. Thank you ..
On Saturday October 28 – another return .. this time to National Trust Dyffryn Gardens St Nicholas near Cardiff in Wales for more storytime and book signing.
On Tuesday October 31 we will in St David’s, Pembrokeshire, Wales at the bookshop at Falcon Boats for storytime and book signing.
