Lots of news and lots happening.
Firstly massive congratulations to our friend actress Vicki Michelle who has landed a big role in UK soap EastEnders. Also known for her comedy role in Allo Allo, Vicki will be joining the cast in fictional Albert Square – how apt! Vicki was lovely about our book ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN.. so from Albert the tortoise to Albert Square!
Vicki made headlines with her new role and we have been making some too… Like these in the Kent Messenger for our upcoming visit to Waterstone’s bookshop in Bluewater shopping centre on Monday April 13 for our half term storytime and book signing event. Exciting!
Also we hade headlines in the East Anglian Daily Times and the Beccles and Bungay Journal for our future visit to a Beccles school marking World Book day on March 2.
We like headlines – and we also like meeting new authors .. like Marielle Bayliss who has joined the fold at our publishers Graffeg. Her book Frog’s Bog will be out on March 9, illustrated by Mariela Malova. Our writer, wrangler bloke welcomed Marielle – and some chocolate snacks might have been involved.
We start our epic road trip very soon taking in schools, bookshops, libraries and more in the lead up to World Book Day and beyond. We are very excited – and we have been packing and prepping. Dinosaur, yeti and stunt Albert the tortoise were not a lot of help. But they posed well.. We have all sorts to take with us as we visit 9 counties across the UK and then we go even farther afield. Very exciting.
