HELLO – welcome to the latest from ALBERT HQ with our friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg.
Lots occurring – so straight into it.
We’ve been talking all things Albert and HnB with radio stations again.
This week we chatted with Ady Dayman at BBC radio Leicester, Amy Oakden and BBC Radio Tees and Kate Justice at BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester.
Broadcast details for each interview will be coming in due course.
Thanks to all involved.
We attended our first school Winter Fayre doing storytime readings and selling books at Larkswood Primary Academy in Chingford.
We teamed with great indie bookshop Jo’s Bookshop, Chingford and a top time was had. Thanks to the organisers – Friends of Larkswood and to all at Jo’s.
We got in the festive mood with some tinsel. It involved the dinosaur and Hugg the yeti too…
We received a great new 5* Review for Albert picturebook ALBEERT UPSIDE DOWN. Words LOVELY and HEART-WARMING put a smile on our face.
Please keep posting YOUR Reviews.. More than 200 5* Reviews for Albert books online now. Thank you all.
Please keep sharing your Pictures too with Albert goodies – like this of a happy tortoise reading their copy of ALBERT IN THE AIR. Keep posing.
We’re on our travel again – to Halifax, West Yorkshire to visit FOUR schools working with great indie bookshop The Thoughtful Spot Children’s Bookshop in Skircoat Green.
We are looking forward to our return there.
Some of the books we gifted with publisher Graffeg to Bookmark Reading Charity have started to land in their new homes. We’re thrilled to see them being welcomed.
Several copies of HnB FINDING HOME have landed. We hope people like them.
There was a top mement this week for Hugg ‘n’ Bugg FINDING HOME when Waterstone’s Kids social media sites picked the book as a tip for Christmas. The bookshop chain praised the book as FUN and HEART-WARMING… Hoorah.
Thanks as ever for all the support you show us. More news soon.
Til next time…
