HELLO – latest news from ALBERT the tortoise and our friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg…
Another road trip has been a lovely success.
We headed back to Halifax in West Yorkshire to visit some great schools in association with indie bookshop The Thoughtful Spot in Skircoat Green.
We took in Ash Green Primary – and we want to say a BIG thank you to all there for a great visit and top storytimes with ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebooks plus tales of real Albert.
Next we were off to Withinfields Primary … Thanks to all involved there.
Next on our trip was Bolton Brow Primary in Sowerby Bridge .. Thanks to everyone there.
Next we hot-footed it to Sacred Heart Academy – also in Sowerby Bridge .. BIG thanks to everyone there.
Our final Thanks for this trip goes to the lovely folk at The Thoughtful Spot Children’s Bookshop who set things up and supplied books.
We are most grateful for the support we receive all over the country and beyond.

Pleased to report Dinosaur and Yeti behaved on the trip…
Talking of Yeti.. and Support.. Amazing support from Love Reading 4 Kids which helps to boost reading with children.. They have alreayd made the next Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebook THE COMB – due out April 2023 – a pick of the year for 2023. Thank you to them. Much appreciated.
