HELLO – welcome to the latest – VERY latest – news from Albert HQ.
In the run up to the Christmas break it is super busy and we have lots to share with you.
Firstly, some amazing Reviews and Shout Outs for our books.
Thanks to Waterstone’s Kids for choosing ALBERT IN THE AIR as a “best book for children”… They used our lovely animated trailer for the latest Albert picturebook and shared us on imnsta and twitter. Waterstone’s Kids is a new off-shoot of the main bookshop giant Waterstone’s social media aimed specifically at those looking for children’s books. They’ve already praised and selected our friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg and their first picturebook FINDING HOME. Hoorah.
ALBERT In the Air also received a great Review from the book blog The Strawberry Post.
Some amazing Praise indeed.
Likewise a 5* Review for ALBERT In The Air on THAT shopping site. We do welcome all reviews wherever. They help us no ned so please do keep posting YOUR Reviews for the Albert and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg books. We like being called FUN and BRILLIANT. Thank you very much.
We did more Radio interviews this week too.
Massive thanks to Amanny Mohammed at BBC Sussex and Surrey for a lively chat. Great to catch up with Amanny thanks to all the team on the show.
We also caught up with Phil Kennedy at BBC Radio Berkshire. That was a pre-record – we think the interview might go out on Tuesday. Thanks to Phil and team.
Of course – we also keep on visiting BOOKSHOPS.
We signed fresh stacks of ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg books at local bookshop Jo’s Bookshop in Chingford. Thanks to all the team there.
We also signed fresh Albert books – accompanied by Festive mini-T Rex – at Waterstone’s in Walthamstow. Thanks to all the team there.
Aand we’re delighted to see ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg featuring in the lovely Christmas Window Display at our other local bookshop V and A Books in Highams Park. Thanks to team V and A.. We will be on hand there for the Highams Park Christmas Fayre signing books and meeting customers – if they want.
We’re waiting on action shots from a couple of other events this week.. See, we told you BUSY times.
More news soon.. Thank you for all the support.
Til next time….
