Latest news from ALBERT HQ and it is a busy time here (even though the main man is tucked up in bed).
Lots to report – starting with Reports on us.
We made the papers in Halifax and in Chingford and East London.
Our recent visit to schools in Halifax West Yorkshire organised by Thoughtful Spot Children’s Bookshop made the Halifax Courier. We’re thrilled.
It was a great trip.
Also our donation of Albert and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg books to our local libraries plus our recent satorytime and signing event at Jo’s Bookshop in Chingford also made headlines in the Chingford and East London Guardian.
It’s BOOKSHOP DAY on Saturday October 8 and we urge you to support your local bookshops. They are great assets to a community.
We are on our travels again with big road trips coming up.
We will be visting Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff in Wales, Truro in Cornwall, Orpington in Kent, Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire, Sunderland in Tyne and Wear .. VERY exciting.
AND next week – OCTOBER 13 is the official launch day for the paperback of new Albert picturebook ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN.
