More news from Albert HQ and there is a lot going on…
In the past few days we have been on a mini tour of bookshops.. Waterstone’s bookshops to be precise.
Of course – we are massive (or SUPERSIZE) fans of indie bookshops… We support all bookshops as best we can.
We were invited to a load of Waterstone’s to sign fresh stock of ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN, ALBERT AND THE WIND – and especially fresh stacks of the latest Albert adventure ALBERT SUPERSIZE…
So, with pens in hand .. Oh, and an inflatable Dinosaur chum, we set off… It’s OK .. he doesn’t bite. Or the dinosaur.
We dropped by WALTHAMSTOW in East London, ENFIELD in Middlesex, ST ALBANS in Hertfordshire, CHELMSFORD in Essex, BLUEWATER in Kent and LAKESIDE in Essex branches and we’re waiting to hear from more to visit soon.
Thanks to all the teams and the managers who give us so much support.
It seems some are looking to make ALBERT SUPERSIZE their Picturebook of the Month for June.. we are MASSIVELY excited about that.
Also, we have been invited back to the St Albans branch to do another storytime featuring ALBERT SUPERSIZE on Sunday June 12. We’ll be posting about that on all our social sites and more here.
Also this week, we popped up on radio.. to talk all things real Albert and the picturebooks and more.
