The Albert books are already being used as WHOLE SCHOL TEXTS in some schools with multiple projects .. Wall charts, Comic books, alternative Albert stories, learning about tortoises and turtles, artwork based on Albert and much more.
Author Ian Brown offers an approximate 30 mins talk, reading and Q and A session and will do multiple sessions to keep numbers down in each group.
The Albert books are based on the real Albert the tortoise who might be 80 and was rescued more than 50 years ago. Children love his story. They also love to hear about how turtles pre-date dinosaurs, how some tortoises are giants and more.
THE BOOKS TEACH ABOUT KINDNESS, TEAMWORK, HELPING OTHERS – AND HOW EVEN THE SMALLEST ASSISTANCE CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.. AND SAYING THANK YOU PROPERLY.
