ALBERT MAKING HEADLINES

HELLO – More news from Albert HQ .. about us making news.. We’ve been grabbing headlines in Kent thanks to the book signing at Waterstone’s book shop in the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. The story was picked up by the Kent Messenger newspapers group and Kent Online.

It’s a top write-up and we very much appreciate the coverage.

Of course, Albert’s first home with his current family was in Gravesend in Kent. He lived there for more than 50 years for sure. Possibly more.

Kent is just one of the stops on what has been a bit of a World Tour recently with such coverage.. not least in our book signings and radio interviews talking about real Albert and the picturebooks ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN and New Book ALBERT AND THE WIND.

Our latest detination was Bristol and BBC Radio Bristol to chat with presenter Steve Yabsley about working  in telly and about the books. It was great to catch up with Steve who was first introduced to Albert when the first book – Albert Upside Down hit shops.

We have more radio, more school visits and more signings upcoming. All updates will come here.

Meanwhile – here’s a little image of our latest radio encounter.

Til next time…
