HELLO – As if real Albert the tortoise wasn’t becoming diva-esque enough (2 books out, a calendar – rising following across facebook and twitter) now we have to contend with his rising status in the media.. He’s going on the telly and is back on all sorts of radio shows.
You guessed it – it’s Book Launch time for the second picturebook featuring Albert .. The follow-up to ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN is being publicised right now so we hope you’ll be hearing a lot about ALBERT AND THE WIND.
So far, Albert’s long-suffering wrangler has appeared on Talkradio Europe with the lovely Hahhah Murray and he’s caught up with Ady Dayman at BBC Radio Leicester. Still to come are chats on BBC stations in Kent, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Suffolk, Somerset and beyond…
And on PUBLICATION DAY October 14th Albert will be centre of attention on the telly.. On the evening news show on LONDON LIVE in London and the South East and then online.
It’s all tortally exciting to be talking about ALBERT AND THE WIND and catching up with some great presenters. Many thanks to all the presenters and producers for letting us loose like this.
Just hope real Albert doesn’t get big-headed over it all.
