NEW FANS FOR ALBERT

HELLO –

Welcome to the very latest news from ALBERT HQ .. with our friends Hugg ‘n’ Bugg.

Might be only a few days to The Holidays and Christmas time but busy times here.

We heard from Greenfields Primary School in Maidstone in Kent (not far from where real Albert spent at least 50 years of his life) and we discovered that pupils have been studying our picturebook ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN, reading the story, learning about Albert, other animals in the tale and creating wall charts and fan art.

A massive thanks to all involved. We love to hear from anyone about our books, our art .. Please keep sharing with us.

We also heard from our publishers in South Korea .. Remember.. ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN and ALBERT AND THE WIND picturebooks have been translated and are on sale in Korea now…

The books were part of a seminar with people linked to libraries there. Albert reaching a very new and exciting audience.

We also heard from a tortoise friend.. And we received a picture that shows what might happen if real Albert went on television.. and what the audience might look like. We love this picture.

And – VERY EXCITING indeed .. we are up for another award. We are on the Long List for the Children’s Literature Festival Children’s Book Award – with our picturebook ALBERT AND THE POND. The winner is named in 2024. We have fingers crossed and thank organisers for including us.

Our next post will be all about Christmas and New Year…

Thank you everyone for all the support you show.

More news soon.

Til next time…
