We are launching a range of Albert Board Books for our littlest readers.
Aimed at 0 to 3 years the first Board Book will be ALBERT and his Friends. Officially publishing in August, the book introduces little readers to garden creatures in a non-threatening way, the idea of friendship and, foc ourse our fabourite tortoise – Albert!
Albert sets off on a wander round his garden home to check up on his garden friends including Bee, Spider, Worm and the Ants…

We also recorded a special interview with Alison Moss at BBC Radio Jersey to be broadcast in August as part of a special show marking the island’s Tortoise Takeiover .. a Tortoise Trail featuring tortoises statues and a Hare statue linked to Jersey Zoo and its famous tortoises. We will let you know when that is due to go out.
