Because Hugg ‘n’ Bugg FINDING HOME is from the same team as our Albert books – writer Ian Brown, illustrator Eoin Clarke and publishers Graffeg, they are SO EXCITED to see what happens in the story. We can’t wait for their full Review.
We’ve been doing more radio … Coming to airwaves soon will be interviews our writer bloke did with BBC Radio Newcastle and BBC Radio Shropshire.
We just had a lovely chat with Mel Everett at BBC Radio Somerset.. who had an amazing tortoise story of her own (about how a long lost tortoise called Rocky was rediscovered) … Thanks Mel and all the team for listening to us all about the ALBERT books and especially ALBERT IN THE AIR and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg FINDING HOME.
We’ve been on our travels again… with more to come.
We had a lovely visit to Waterstone’s bookshop in Butter Market Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk – storytime readings, book signing and we met some lovely young readers (plus parents and grandparents). Thanks to everyone we met and to all the bookseller team. Lots of signed books in store there now.
More travels to come…
We are heading to SUNDERLAND to visit schools as part of the Northern Children’s Book Festival. We’re very excited.
On Saturday November 26 we will be at the Winter Fayre at Larkswood school in Chingford, north East London. Readings and chat in association with Jo’s Bookshop in north Chingford.
We’re also delighted to be invited BACK to Halifax, West Yorkshire at the end of November, working with The Thoughtful Spot Bookshop in Skircoat Green, to visit even more schools. Our last visit was grand and we’re looking forward to meeting lots of new young readers.
