BUSY ALBERT

HELLO – Busy times here at ALBERT HQ.. We’re NOT complaining for sure.. It is so exciting to see and to welcome more people – and tortoises and turtles – to the world of Albert.

It’s been a very active week..

We visited THREE schools this week..

Thanks to everyone at Willowbrook in Hutton, Brentwood in Essex for making us so welcome and for listening all about real Albert and to the ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN story.

On the same day we dashed to Chelmsford in Essex to Waterstone’s book store in the High Street to sign a batch of ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN and ALBERT AND THE WIND – thanks to all the team there… In fact we are going back there for a Reading for school half term .. More details on our social media.

We were also making headlines… In the East London, West Essex Guardian series of newspapers..  A great report on our recent visit to Wells Primary in Woodford Green – and a round-up of future visits across the Waltham Forest area to schools and libraries. Certainly had the tortoises in Albert HQ very interested…

We also visited Grange Park Prep school in Enfield this week and met a great bunch of new Albert fans.

We visited another school too in Chiswell Green near St Albans, Herts.. thanks to all at Killigrew Primary.

It was brilliant to meet so many children and we look forward to meeting many more in coming weeks..

Lots more news to come from us soon. Til next time…
