HELLO – welcome to all things ALBERT the tortoise and our friends Hugg n Bugg..
Lots going on .. let’s get cracking.
We had a lovely gift from one of the Welsh schools we visited recently. Schoolchildren at Romilly Primary in Barry had a go at drawing their own versions of Albert.. and they made an amazing collection of Alberts indeed..
We love to receive YOUR artwork and photos of all things Albert. This collection is very special indeed and we will treasure it. Thanks to all involved.
Remember we did window displays at our local library to mark publication of new Albert book ALBERT AND THE POND.. We got a lovely write-up about the displays in a local community portal site. It’s lovely to receive such support locally. We always urge people to support libraries and we have gifted all the Albert and Hugg n Bugg picturebooks to several in our area.
We had another write-up this week – that might have slightly jumped the gun .. but we are thgrilled ot have it. Essex Magazine ran a piece on our latest Albert content. We are launching a range of Albert board books for ealiiest readers.. 0 to 3 years. It all starts officially on August 22 with the launch of ALBERT AND THE FIRENDS in which Albert tours his garden home and checks in on his pals. We meet butterfly, spider, ants, worms, bee and more. A gentle way to meet the bugs and other creatures in the garden environment. We are very excited about this new venture.
