HELLO – the latest news from ALBERT the tortoise HQ – along with our pals Hugg ‘n’ Bugg.. and so much is happening…
We had a terrific visit to Woodbridge in Suffolk to indie bookshop Woodbridge Books for our ALBERT and Hugg ‘n’ Bugg picturebooks storytime.
The sun even came out… and we had a good turn out for our readings. Books were sold! And we signed a load for the shop. Thanks to Sally and everyone involved. – They already want us back. So something must have gone OK.
Our recent visit to High Wych Pre-School and Nursery made headlines.. in the Bishop’s Stortford Independent newspaper. A lovely write-up of our storytime event. Thank you again to everyone involved..
Our display at our local library is saying farewell for a bit.. But we will be back soon with a new display to mark our new ALBERT book – ALBERT AND THE POND… Also we will be part of the Library Day – part of our local Arts Trail.. on June 17 when we will have a stall and we’ll be doing readings and handing out goodies. Do support YOUR local libraries. Great assets to a community.
Much of the talk of recent times has been the Coronation… Of course Albert had to get involved living in London… He seemed to enjoy the occasion and made quite the SHELLebration of it all. Hope it didn’t all go to his head…
There will soon be more cause for celebration.. as June 15 marks the official publication of NEW ALBERT the tortoise picturebook ALBERT AND THE POND.
We’re very excited to share this new adventure with you all.
Pre-Orders of our books help us enormously…
Some of the places you might place an order ahead of publication are here :
Of course, we’ll be sharing loads more soon.
Thank you – as ever – for all the support. Til next time…
