ALBERT the Edi-TORT?

HELLO – The latest news from ALBERT HQ… Lots going on even though it is fast becoming holiday season.

Firstly we got through the record breaking temperatures in the UK. Real Albert made his way into the bushes and deep shade and looked after himself. A cool bath kept him happy and he fed OK. We’re back to more normal temperatures now.

We’re thrilled with the reception to our Foreword in the new edition of The Story Corner magazine from Bookmark Reading Charity. They do great work and we were asked to echo the theme of the new magazine on teamwork.. Of course the Albert picturebooks are all about the wonder of teamwork and helping others. Especially Albert Upside Down. There is also teamwork in the way our writer and illustrator work together with publishers Graffeg and others to make the books happen.. And the other big collaborative element is real Albert who inspired the books.

Albert was very pleased to act as Edi-TORT to check over the magazine our foreword and copies of the picturebooks ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN, ALBERT AND THE WIND & ALBERT SUPERSIZE.

We encourage you to check out Bookmark charity and if you can help please do. They help schools by gifting books and library equipment. Their core work is providing volunteers to help children with not so great reading skills and confidence issues. If you can spare time .. See what you might be able to do. Thank you everyone for all the support we receive.
