Also this week we did a two day visit to a large Primary School in Woodford, Redbridge (St Antony’s) to mark the school setting up as new library.
We talked to all ages about real Albert, tortoises and turtles and we read from all three Albert picturebooks.
Thanks to all at the school who invited us and made it possible ansd thanks to all pupils and staff for being so enthusiastic.
A GREAT finish to the week when we saw on instagram the winner of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and ex-Emmerdale star Danny Miller reading ALBERT SUPERSIZE to his baby Albert. Wowzers… Danny called the book BRILLIANT and said it was Albert’s FAVOURITE. Tortally excellent.
Hopefully all the attention w on’t go to tortoise Albert’s head.
We have more busy times coming up.. More radio intereviews and loads of visits to libraries in Waltham Forest to read from the Albert books.
