HELLO – More news from ALBERT the tortoise HQ.. It is getting very busy round here. But we want to keep you fully updated.
You might notice something new at the foot of every page on Albert’s website.. It’s the Official confirmation that Albert is now officially the UK AMBASSADOR for the California Turtle, Tortoise Club (Valley) and the Sofa Cushion Challenge.
The aim is for Albert to help raise awareness of these organisations and help them raise funds to help sick and injured turtles and tortoises. Many thanks to both Sofa Cushion Challenge and the CTTC for this wonderful honour.
You might remember, a while ago, we made a video all about the SOFA CUSHION CHALLENGE – a fun way to round up some cash and to help.
We urge you to do what you can.
In other news we are super busy lining up all sorts of school visits to talk about Albert, his tortoise and turtle cousins and to read from the ALBERT picturebooks.
Any SCHOOLS, TEACHERS, SCHOOL LIBRARIANS that would like to have a visit .. Please do get in touch.
We’re thrilled to be up for some awards this year for the first Albert picturebook – ALBERT UPSIDE DOWN. The first award event is coming soon … We will keep you fully posted. We certainly have fingers and tortoise toes crossed.
